The Little Read Book is an independent, full service bookstore that has been in business in the Village of Wauwatosa for twenty-one years. The bookstore, dedicated to the fine art of browsing, features a thoughtfully selected inventory of books, greeting cards and gifts.
The Little Read Book is very involved in the community. Working closely with the Fire and Police Departments, the bookstore sponsors the annual Fire vs. Police softball game at Hartfest, registers thousands for National Night Out and coordinates the Village Easter Egg Hunt, Trick or Treat and the Christmal Tree Lighting. During each event, money is raised and food items are gathered for the Tosa Community Food Pantry. The store also gives a generous discount to area schools & churches.
The staff of The Little Read Book believes that the most important aspect of bookselling is the impact the bookstore has on the community.
Open:
Monday thru Friday: 10am to 8pm
Saturday: 10am to 4pm
Sunday: Noon to 4pm
